SI TU LE VEUX, tu peux me rendre pur.

I told myself, I need a refreshing. I really need a refreshing. Honestly been dry these few weeks. Today, with 25 hours for the first time in my life, I went to church on an early Sunday morning. A friend of mine told me there was a possibility that there'll be no service today due to a big church gathering, but I told myself, I have to go. I have to go. And indeed, I really was blessed by today's church service.

During the early days, I could barely understand those songs, sermons, and even what were the annoucements! Imagine, sitting down on the bench, looking up the person talking on the pulpit, completely...BLANK! Back in Malaysia, we may find it hard to stay focus if we found the sermon the 'oldschool version', uninteresting or whatsoever. But when I'm here in France, my strength and desire were really challenged. It's tough to continue going every week when I don't feel belonged, I don't understand. That was what I thought. Sang the lyrics without completely understanding the meaning. So different from where I grew to be commited in church.

But today, I thank and praise God. I was glad that I'm beginning to understand more. And I could relate to the sermon well today, thank God. I needed an encouragement, I really needed one, and through the sermon, I knew I can stand back on my feet again. The pastor today shared about the leper in the Book of Mark. When a leper came to Jesus and asked "If You are willing, You can make me clean." And I was moved by how Jesus reacted after that phrase; He was moved with compassion and He stretched out His hand and touched him, a leper, whom was unclean. It shows how much Jesus loves us, even if we were filled with uncleanliness, sins, so much sin, that He is right there willing to forgive us.

Forgive me Lord...
And Lord, thank you for a new start.

Je les aime!

Hey you, my blog whom I miss writing to. It's been centuries since my last post, never been able to find the time to write a complete post. Either I wrote half way or just the title. So many things happened since I last wrote. Many places I've went, awesome things I've seen and experienced! For instant, my parents came over to France for 10days to visit their little girl here. It was really sweet and heart-warming gesture that they made for me. Thank you Paps Moms! I really had a great superb time with them both, although ten days was just more than a week, it will always be my good memories. Before my parents arrived, I was all gittering in happiness and butterflies in my stomach. Bought loads of groceries, cleaned my whole studio and added an extra bed and a table. All set for my parents.

On Saturday morning, Shahidan and Shan are such great friends, that they willingly came along with me to Strasbourg to meet my parents. My heart screamed in joy when I saw papa and mommy in the train and I ran towards it even before the train stops. Like a little girl, I hugged them for the first time in four months since I came to Colmar. It made me feel like home, haha just forgive me if I'm making all these like a drama. I'm just still a homesick girl. We took the boat/le bateau around the ville and it was such a good sight, with those ancient buildings all over. My parents finally saw how big is the food portion per person here. So, really...that's the main reason why I gained weight! By night, we came back to Colmar and it felt so good that my studio was filled with their voices, their little scoldings...

During the whole ten days, I planned an agenda for them muahaha. I know I was alittle bad, to plan all these by myself even when they said it wasn't necessary. Hehe thank God for sporting parents like them!

Saturday: Visit Strasbourg.
Sunday: Visit Le Haut-Kœnigsbourg, an old, gigantic, historical castle.
Monday: Visit CEL (the place where I'm studying the langauge) and le centre ville in Colmar.
Tuesday: Visit Bale, Switzerland.
Wednesday: Visit Mulhouse.
Thursday: Rest in Colmar.
Friday: Visit Freiburg, Germany.
Saturday till Monday: In Paris!

Many pictures taken, but I'll upload them the next time aite. All in all, it was such a great time that all these will always be in my heart and a part of me in France right now  :D

Air yang dicincang tidak akan putus akhirnya. PART 1.

That's a phrase that can be used in a family tree. Whom consist of the father, the mother, the brothers and the sister. I really miss them and I can't find a perfect word to describe how much I've missed them. Living alone in a foreign country is such a challenge for me, especially when it comes to being alone in my own studio and handling my own matters. Life in Malaysia was so much easier back then, less stress, more company, more close ones, more familiarity. Whenever I felt really down or needed company, my family has always been there. My daddy, whom always advice me when I was discouraged and to comfort me when I'm crushed in spirit. My mommy, whom was 100% to aide me in whatever matters I have and cared for me with all her love.

My big brother, whom really took care of me as his dear little sister. My sister, whom was always there to share secrets together and slept in the same room throughout my teenage years. My second brother, whom was there for me to look up to and understands me. My little brother, whom was there to accompany me when I needed someone and listens alot to her sister's craps. I knew when I made the choice to come to France to study, I would have to be apart from my family and friends for a really long time. It hurts, really hurts because I have no idea it would this hard, the fact suddenly sinked in so deep, that I still have six more years to go on without my family here. Whether I might sound like a big baby here, I don't care. Because I really love my family, love them so much and I wouldn't be what I am now without them.

So, to those back in Malaysia, seriously, literally, mentally, emotionally, really, frankly, honestly, reality, for real, treasure those moments you have with your family. Because we don't know how much time we have to spend together as a big happy family.

Not so typical after all, ain't it?

Slept around 3am last night, finally replied the mails that I've received since I came here. Thank you so much for my dear family and friends whom still care! I really appreciate you all   =D

Swept, mopped my whole studio and did some housekeeping. What was bothering me, the lift is not working! The fact that I'm staying in the 5th floor, it's not that pleasant to walk down and up the stairs for THREE times in the morning (and all you wanted to do was send your clothes for laundry). Long story short, I did some forced exercise this morning. Hopefully the lift will function well by Monday, if not... I would have to carry my bicycle down and up throughout the five tall loooooong floooooooors! Hopefully, hopefully not...

Continued on with my planning for my parents in October, oh fyi, they're coming to France in October! Uncle Robert and Aunty Linda coming to Europe! Although it'll only be 10 days, mais heureusement, ils iront ici! Hope I can plan an awesome trip for them.

A typical weekend?

Will it be the typical weekend I used to have back in Malaysia? I miss those times. Youth Alive, family and friends. To those who went for In.Love Retreat, hope you guys are blessed much!

Literally, this is my desktop background. I miss you six, seven, eight, nine, ten!
